Neighborhub Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Neighborhub platform (including ordering food, listing a merchant business, or delivering as a courier), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the platform.

2. Customer Orders & Payments

  • Pricing & Availability: Prices and item descriptions are provided directly by merchants. Neighborhub is not responsible for pricing inaccuracies or out-of-stock items.
  • Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely via Stripe. By submitting an order, you authorize Neighborhub to charge your selected payment method for the order total, applicable taxes, and delivery/service fees.
  • Order Statuses & Timelines: Estimated preparation and delivery times on the platform are approximate and subject to kitchen load and delivery logistics.

3. Merchant & Kitchen Board Obligations

  • Store & Inventory Management: Merchants are responsible for updating order states (Pending, Confirmed, Ready) in a timely manner and setting store availability accurately to avoid unfulfillable orders.
  • Food Safety & Quality: Merchants warrant that all prepared items comply with local health and food safety regulations. Neighborhub is not liable for food quality or allergy mismatches.

4. Delivery Jobs & Couriers

  • Independent Contractor Status: Couriers accepting delivery jobs on Neighborhub operate as independent contractors and are not employees or agents of Neighborhub.
  • Fulfillment & Care: Couriers agree to complete accepted jobs promptly and maintain reasonable safety standards while in transit.

5. Refunds and Cancellations

Once an order moves to "CONFIRMED" status by the merchant, cancellations may not be eligible for a full refund. For missing or damaged items, customers must contact support within 24 hours of delivery.

6. Limitation of Liability

Neighborhub provides a marketplace connecting merchants, customers, and couriers. Neighborhub is not liable for indirect damages, service interruptions, or disputes occurring directly between users on the platform.
